Knowing what you want is only part of the process - building a way to make it work in everyday life is what creates lasting change.

Meaningful change begins with a clear purpose.

The Behavioral Wellness Co. uses a structured, evidence-informed approach to help women in midlife improve their health and well-being.

Grounded in behavioral science, we focus on translating goals into practical, sustainable action through assessment, implementation, and ongoing support.

Our work follows a structured process that adapts to each client’s context and supports long-term change.

Our programming includes five key phases:

  • We begin by understanding your goals, current routines, and the factors shaping your daily life. This includes a comprehensive view of your physical, emotional, and social well-being.

  • Together, we clarify priorities and develop a practical, individualized plan aligned with your values and goals. This may include identifying specific target behaviors, creating structured routines, adjusting environmental supports, and developing strategies to support consistency and follow-through.

  • You begin putting your plan into practice, with a focus on building systems that support consistency in real life. Together, we work through what implementation looks like day-to-day, making adjustments as needed so that your plan feels realistic, manageable, and sustainable.

  • Progress is tracked over time, and plans are refined to ensure they remain effective and sustainable. As you move forward, we use this information to identify what is working, address barriers, and make thoughtful adjustments so your plan continues to fit your life.

  • We focus on helping you maintain progress and apply what you’ve learned so you can continue moving forward independently.

  • We primarily work with women in midlife who are looking to make meaningful, sustainable improvements in their health and well-being. This includes women across a wide range of life circumstances and identities - including transgender women - balancing careers and family responsibilities, navigating changes in health such as perimenopause or menopause, managing caregiving roles, or reassessing priorities as they move into a new stage of life.

Some clients come with very specific goals, while others are looking for a clearer sense of direction and a more structured approach to moving forward. Regardless of where you are starting, our work is individualized and designed to support your unique goals, priorities, and daily realities.

  • Our approach is more structured and systems-focused than many traditional therapy models. While therapy can be valuable in different ways, our work is specifically focused on not only helping you identify your goals, but also to move from intention to action. Using a structured, behavioral approach, we work together to create realistic plans and systems that fit your life and support lasting change.

  • That’s completely okay. Its not uncommon for clients begin this process without a clear plan or specific set of goals. Often, they have a general sense that they want things to feel more manageable, more consistent, or more aligned with their priorities, but aren’t sure how to define that yet.

The initial phase of our work is designed to help with exactly this. Through a structured assessment and collaborative discussion, we work together to clarify your priorities, identify areas of focus, and develop a clear starting point. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin - that is part of the process.

  • Yes. Many women we work with already have a good understanding of their goals and what they would like to change. The difficulty is often not a lack of information, but figuring out how to make those changes work consistently in the context of everyday life.

Our work focuses on helping you translate that knowledge into practical, sustainable action by developing clear plans and building systems that support follow-through over time.

  • This work is a good fit for women who are ready to take a more structured and intentional approach to their health and well-being. Many clients already have a sense of their goals but are looking for a clear plan and support to help them follow through consistently.

A good fit also includes being open to applying strategies in your day-to-day life and making adjustments over time. Our approach is collaborative, but it is active—you will be doing the work, with guidance and support along the way.

If you’re unsure, an initial consultation is a helpful way to determine whether this approach aligns with your goals and needs.

  • No. Our services focus on behavioral wellness and are not a replacement for medical or mental health care. We do not diagnose or treat medical or mental health conditions.

If your needs fall outside the scope of our services, we will provide referrals to appropriate providers. We also welcome collaboration with physicians, therapists, and other health professionals to ensure you receive comprehensive, coordinated support.
